  4. About Video Poker ... NOT! (VPN)
  5.  
  6. It may look like Video Poker, but it's not. If you like to win, VPN lets you
  7. cheat. If you like to understand, VPN provides some tools. If VPN does not
  8. convince you to stop playing Video Poker, it will make you a better player.
  9. Some of the features of VPN include:
  10.  
  11.     1. strength analysis to help you select the best way to play a hand.
  12.     2. fast advice heuristics to tell you the best way to play a hand.
  13.     3. play two hands at once to compare strategies.
  14.     4. set up your own hands to study specfic situations.
  15.     5. change pay outs to study their effect on strategy.
  16.     6. better than average card graphics, with some surprises.

  18. VPN should run on any Mac with System 6.0.7 or later. Due to the
  19. computationally intensive nature of certain features, VPN works best on
  20. systems at least as powerful as the IIsi. Card displays look best on a color
  21. monitor. With all features enabled, VPN works best on a screen of 640 by
  22. 480 pixels or greater.

  24. Warning: the Advise and Analyse features are not "friendly". Do not use
  25. them in a system that must perform time-critical tasks.

  28. This program is shareware. It may be redistributed freely on the conditions:

  30.     1. no fees are charged beyond the costs of media or downloading.
